I was responsible for organising and leading the 16th edition of the largest and oldest startup accelerator in Estonia – Ajujaht (eng BrainHunt).
Estonia’s oldest and biggest non-equity startup accelerator Ajujaht with prime-time TV episodes in national TV has been running since 2007. Over the years it has evolved from idea competition to a full-scale early-stage startup accelerator. The 16th edition (in 2023) was oriented towards early-stage startups with MVPs and existing traction (users or clients) that want to make their next step – either access the (new) market(s) and/or raise investments from angels and VCs.
From this program, one unicorn (Bolt.eu) has appeared and each year several successful startups emerge. For example, Click & Grow, Bikeep, FoodDocs, Timbeter, GoWorkaBit and many other successful companies working in Europe, the U.S. and worldwide.
I was responsible for delivering the program from concept to finalization – raising public awareness of the program through large-scale marketing and communication campaigns, startup and jury selection, organising selection bootcamps, implementing the 4-month long acceleration program for 20 startups, communicating with the partners and sponsors, facilitating alumni community event, providing network and connections for startups, leading the TV competition concept and delivery, and running the organising team throughout the year.
